Director of Clinical Strategy and Operations
Holly Mims is a seasoned mental health professional and program strategist with over a 20 years of experience guiding individuals, families, and systems through meaningful, trauma-informed care. As Director of Clinical Services at Healing Happens, she leads with clinical integrity, operational insight, and a deep commitment to sustainable growth—for clients and clinicians alike.
Licensed across multiple states and nationally board-certified, Holly brings a diverse clinical lens grounded in cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based approaches. She specializes in complex trauma, forensic populations, mood and thought disorders, substance use, and reentry support—often working at the intersection of clinical care and justice reform. Her work also includes dedicated support for active-duty service members and veterans navigating psychological stress, trauma, and post-deployment transitions. Her leadership has shaped high-impact programs across community mental health, private practice, and behavioral health systems, always centering the therapeutic alliance and outcomes-driven strategies. At Healing Happens, Holly develops and oversees clinical programming, supervises multidisciplinary teams, and ensures that every client experience reflects the practice’s values of authenticity, accountability, and compassionate care. Whether designing trauma recovery curricula or mentoring emerging clinicians, her work is rooted in the belief that healing is both possible and purposeful—when it's done together, and done well.
Sandra Moss, M.Ed., BSW
Program Director
Sandra Moss brings over 25 years of dedicated mental health experience to her role as Program Director at Healing Happens. With a Master’s degree in Community Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Mississippi, she has built a distinguished career supporting individuals, families, and communities through therapeutic care and program leadership.
Sandra has served in various clinical settings across Mississippi and Florida, including outpatient centers, crisis units, and private practices. Her specialties include trauma-informed care, family systems therapy, and substance abuse counseling, with certifications in SASSI and psychosexual assessment. As a Clinical Supervisor at Health Connect America, she led a team of therapists while continuing to provide direct services to clients with complex needs. Sandra’s leadership style is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a deep commitment to holistic healing. At Healing Happens, she oversees program development and clinical operations, ensuring each client receives personalized, compassionate care on their journey to recovery.
