Why I Do This Work
“I was drawn to this work by a deep interest in how people survive—and rebuild—after life-altering experiences. I’ve worked in high-intensity settings with individuals navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives, and I’ve seen what’s possible when people are met with respect, honesty, and real support. Healing isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up for yourself, even when it’s hard. I do this work because I believe in people’s ability to grow, change, and reclaim their lives. And I believe in meeting them there—side by side, through the hard and the healing.”
Sandra Moss, M.Ed
Director of Clinical Training and Supervision
Sandra Moss is an experienced mental health professional with over 20 years of work in clinical supervision, therapist development, and direct care. Sandra has particular expertise in trauma-informed care, grief and loss, life transitions, and eating disorder treatment. Her approach integrates a strong understanding of systems and social context, with a focus on helping clinicians deepen their practice and navigate the ethical, emotional, and relational challenges of therapeutic work.
At Healing Happens, Sandra designs and leads internal training programs, provides reflective supervision, and plays a key role in supporting our values-driven clinical culture. She is known for her warmth, clarity, and commitment to helping clinicians grow in both skill and confidence.
Why I Do This Work
“I believe that when clinicians feel seen, supported, and ethically grounded, they are better equipped to guide clients toward healing. My goal is to help each clinician develop the confidence and relational skill to hold space for transformation—even in the toughest moments. I’m honored to be part of that ripple effect at Healing Happens.”

Currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Healthcare Management, Christian is not only passionate about operational excellence but is deeply committed to the human side of healing.
Why I Do This Work
For me, this work is personal. I’ve seen what happens when people are left without support during their most vulnerable moments, and I’ve also seen how powerful it can be when someone simply shows up with empathy and clarity. At Healing Happens, I get to be part of a team that believes in real, human care—not just as a service, but as a mission. Every day is an opportunity to make someone’s experience safer, more dignified, and more hopeful. That’s why I do this work.

Whether she’s guiding clients through healing work or supporting a team of fellow clinicians, Terra leads with compassion, curiosity, and courage.
Her work is a reminder that healing isn’t just a process—it’s a practice, and one she’s committed to, every day.
Why I Do This Work
I’ve been in rooms where no one knew what to say. Where pain sat thick in the air, and silence felt safer than speaking. I’ve also seen what happens when someone dares to show up, to hold space, and to believe that healing is possible. That’s why I do this work.
I’m here for the quiet breakthroughs, the hard questions, the sacred work of helping people come home to themselves. Because I believe that no matter how lost someone feels, they are never beyond connection, care, or change.
